Show SERVICE ON RURAL FREE DELIVERY ROUTE established service on rural f free ree delivery no I 1 has been established and the carrier is now covering the route three times per week it has taken considerable time and trouble to obtain the service asi as now provided for but we are not yet s satisfied atis fied and are working to the end of sa securing curing daily service in order to secure it more patrons must be had everyone living on the route should patronize it they should appreciate the expense the post office department is going to in order to bring the mail to them and should provide a cioper mail box for receipt of their mall mail tin I 1 cans and wooden boxes on frices or elsewhere will not answer the carrier Is responsible for loss or destroyed ti mall hall unless it is placid in a box that is approved by the P 0 department and he will not deliver I 1 mall mail to any patron until such a box la Is provided it should be set on a post 3 feet from the ground and so BO located that carrier can convent conveniently reach it without leaving his car such boxes may be obtained from local merchants or it if sufficient Is ordered from the postmaster it is hoped that all who can will provide suitable boxes and patronize the route without further delay otherwise the service may be discontinued it if thos living on page bench hancock cove and south and west of town are interested in rural delivery they are asked to call it at the post office and sign a petition to the department asking tor for such service it if sufficient patrons can be added to the route and all those now living on it will patronize it dally daily service can bo be obtained ROBERT LAMBERT postmaster |
