Show MRS MARRETT DIES AT HER HOME IN DUCHESNE funeral services were held sunday ferrua february ry it at duchesne interment ut ermen t in U upalco p alco cemetery efrom duc duchesne besne correspondent late friday evening of last week mrs marvell marveil marett passed away to the great beyond the direct cause for her death being a hemorrhage mrs marett had been sick for about ten days and was considered as progressing nicely after the birth of a still born child but seemed to get worse again later doctors albert bjornson of duchesne and harris of roosevelt were sum summoned monid but without avail mrs marett was formerly of upal co and had lived in duchesne together with her family tor for several years past she leaves a family of five small children tour four boys and one girl besides her husband her maiden name was mitchell and she was a cousin of sheriff arzy 11 mitchell she is also survived by several I 1 brothers and se a sisters most of whom were present at the funeral services mrs airs marett and family were well known in duchesne and had many friends as was evidenced by the large number of people in attendance at the funeral she was a modest quiet woman and it was said of her that she had never been known to have spoken III of anyone mr air and mrs airs marett were both active sunday school teachers in the duchesne ward funeral services were held sunday february 28 at 12 and were conducted under the direction of bishop J AT AlIc kelson the choir sang through deepening trials prayer by leo dennion Een nion quartette selection mrs nettle nettie anderson leora Mie AlIc kelson christina and edna hair duet mrs airs IV A paxton and miss alice paxton the sp akers were edwin L Al murphy urphy lester stott and president G V billings who spoke words ot of comfort to the bereaved especially stressing the good character and great faith which the departed possessed interment was at the upalco cemetery et ery |
