| Show FORMER VERNAL MAN DIES AS RESULT OF AUTO ACCIDENT carl oscar eman 29 of 0 1336 1335 richards street salt lake city died in a local hospital there sept 17 1924 this brings the total of such deaths la in salt lake city to thirteen since jan 1 1924 mr air emad was injured in an accident at forty eighth south street and highland drive early on the morning of august 31 he and his wife were riding south on highland drive in a machine driven by ralph Al murdock of Du ducheine chegne at the intersection with forty eighth south the wheels of tho the machine seemed to lock and the car crashed into a telephone pole eman suffered a fractured skull and other injuries ard mrs eman murdock and three other in the machine were bruised and lacerated eman was taken to the county hospital where he did not regain consciousness tor for nine hours he was then removed to the general hospital where his condition seemed to improve until monday when meningitis set in from then until the end his decline was rapid the dead man served in the field artillery during the war surviving him are his wife and 18 months old child his father oscar eman a brother and a sister mr air eman is well known in vernal where he lived tor for some time engaged in the plumbing business laura and vera samuels ot of vernal and wells murdock ot of duchesne were the other occupants of the car |
