Show One of the biggest and most beautiful events at Union High Schlool got underway this week by seleoting Billie Reidhead and Margaret Huber as Junior Prom chairmen. .c-U-c On Nov. 14 th Ken Ay cock and Mont Larsen, from Uintah Power and Light, gave a lecture lec-ture and demlonstration to all Shop and vocational ag students. stud-ents. This demonstration dealt with Wiring .the home and farm and also stressed safety precautions pre-cautions with electricity. c-U-c The night of the 10th of November the FFA held its initiation. in-itiation. Twenty-four new members mem-bers were accepted in the club. Pie and ice cream were served to those in attendance and a fine time was had by all c-U-c This- year's FFA officers are: Riulon Gilbert, president; Larry Ross, vice-president; Clayton Hufber, secretary; Hugh Evans, treasurer, and Val Labrum and Ronald McKee, sentinals. 4C-U-C Try-outs for this year's 'basketball 'bas-ketball team 'began - this week wlith high expectations for another an-other -winning team. c-U-c The Drama class put on two oneact plays 'before the stu-dentbody stu-dentbody this week. One was called "The Case of the Weird Sisters" and the other was "Dark Eyes." The class has two miore plays almost ready for production. c-U-c Last Tuesday we held Parents' Par-ents' Day at Union High. A large number of parents were on hand to help teachers with their children and also to receive re-ceive a report from teachers I Concerning their children. A I very fine program was arranged arran-ged by the Union High P-TA We at Union Wish to express our thanks to all who made Parents' Day a success. |
