Seventeen of the twenty officers offi-cers and teachers were present. Osa Hullinger and Nita White (presented the lessons. Mrs. Winn and Mrs. May Jenkins served delicious refreshments. CONFERENCE HELD Relief Society conference was held Sunday evening, Nov. 7th Mrs. FloreM Collins and Mrs. ..Jack Cook were the speakers. The Singing Mothers sang two numbers. BABY SHOWER Mrs Ellis Denver assisted by Pauline Denver, gave a pink and (blue shower for Mrs. Dick Curry, of lit. Duchesne, at her home in Alterra. on Monday afternoon, Nov. 8. Twenty f our ladies attended the shower and games were played. The hostess served coffee, punch and decorated decor-ated doughnuts for refreshments. refresh-ments. Mrs. Curry received some1 lovely gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stanley motored to Salt Lake City on Thursday. On their return trip ffliey visited friends and relatives rela-tives dm Park City. Mrs. Golden Collins, Mrs Ernest Betts, Mrs. Fred Cook and Mrs. Mary Collins went to Vernal one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Bracken and two children, of Salt Lake, spent two days during pheasant season ait the home of Karl's parents. Mr. and Mrs. George Bracken. Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Rolbinson, of Salt Lake City, were visitors visi-tors at ithe home of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Enerson last week. Mrs. Leland Angus and daughter, JoAnn, made a trip to Salt Lake City and back last week. Orlan Cook took his brother, Wayne, to Bangely, Colo, last week to visit with his sister and IbrotherTinJaw, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Westwood. |
