Show s Volume One Of Roosevelt ' Standard Comes To Light Thanks to a former news-Lf news-Lf editor, Arnold Reef, we now in possession of the f!t volume ever published of ;; f Roosevelt Standard, which '"d its beginning on August "i J914, forty years ago last ! Especially interesting was the ;-ory of the formation of Du-T Du-T 'esne Couhty, and the Stand's Stan-d's first editorial written by Si'.or Reef. (Continued from page one) first editorial, which was captioned cap-tioned "Salutation," is a brief statement entitled, "Explanatory," "Explana-tory," and signed by Publisher J. P. May.. "A Stranger's Impressions," Im-pressions," evtidently written by a staff member who had come to Roosevelt as an employee-, is filled with encouragement encour-agement and bright hoipe for the future. Three of the oages of home-prdnt are generously filled with advertisements, with a few classified ads found on page 1. An eight-page paper, four of the pages are what is commonly known1 as "Ready-Print," "Ready-Print," items printed outside, and shipped in. It would take several more lengthy (paragraphs to adequately ade-quately describe the valuable find brought to the Standard office by Mr. Reef. Therefore, we invite anyone interested to drop in and look them over. The present publishers will have to restrict reading the papers to' our office lest a copy might be mlispfliaeed |
