Show KIWANIS LEADER CALLS FOR NATIONAL UNITY Praise for their efforts in the six months since they were organized, or-ganized, and a plea to unify the home front against aggression from foreign powers, was the message LeRoy J. Olsen, Provo, I lieutenant-governor of Kiwanis : of the Utah-Idaho district left with members of the Roosevelt club last night. Mr. Olsen made his official visit to the club which he helped help-ed to organize early this year, and talked to the membership j briefly about various Kiwanis ! problems on a local and international inter-national basis. He was introduced intro-duced by J. D. Walker, club president, who presided over the meeting. Following Mr. Olsen's address the members saw a film pertaining per-taining to the oil industry, which was presented by M. A. Tuttle, Price, divisional supervisor super-visor for the Continental Oil Co. Two members of the Roosevelt Roose-velt Kiwanis club, Mr. Walker, president-elect, and Cliff N. I Memmott, secretary-elect, will attend a Utah-Idaho training conference at Pocatello. Idaho, Saturday and Sunday of this week. |
