Show Four Hollywood Stars To Appear In U' Festival Four Hollywood stars will appear ap-pear in the annual Spring Festival Fes-tival production of the University Univer-sity theater on Feb. 7 through Feb. 10, Gail Plummer, manager mana-ger of the University of Utah organization, announced today. Headlining George Bernard Shaw's "Don Juan in Hell" will be Charles Laughton as Satan; Charles Boyer as Don Juan; Sir Cedric Hardwicke as the Spanish Span-ish commander, and Miss Agnes Moorehead as the commander's daughter betrayed by Don Juan. Ju-an. Billed as The First Drama Quartet, the Hollywood troupe just recently began a select national na-tional tour to include the Salt Lake City appearance. When contacted about their proposals to use his work on tour, the often of-ten crotchety pdaywright labelled label-led the idea "very nice." The play is the serious, symbolical sym-bolical and satirical third act of 'Man and Superman," not often played in America but judged by Shaw as some of the finest of his work. The play is the highlight of the annual major series and will be included in the season price, Mr. Plummer said. |
