Show Cancer Campaign Exceeds Quota, States Chairman Mrs. Howard Ivory, cancer campaign chairman, reported this week that the drive had ended and that she had mailed a check for $369 22 to the state committee. Quota for the county coun-ty was $300. Workers who canvassed the business district were Mrs. Omni Om-ni Winterton, Mrs. Garnett Bir-chell, Bir-chell, Mrs. Merlin Sullivan, Mrs. John Swenson, Mrs. George Hacking, Mrs. Ed Labrum and Mrs. Van Winterton. Beehive girls of the two Roos-'evelt Roos-'evelt LDS wards and their leaders made a house-to-house canvass. Leaders assisting' included in-cluded Mrs. Clyde McDonald, Mrs. Max Owen. Mrs. Keith Luke and Mrs. Donald Laris. Also aiding in the drive were Miss Donna Todd and Miss Edith Ed-ith Hardinger, Mrs. Ivory would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who worked on the drive and the public for their cooperation cooper-ation and contributions. j |
