Mr. and Mrs. Hart came to Myton Sunday Sun-day afternoon for a brief visit and to enjoy a Mother's Day dinner. DINNER PARTY Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb en tertained at a Sunday night supper sup-per at their home in Roosevelt Their guest list included M.-' and Mrs. Rex Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson, Miss Alice Al-ice Todd and Mr. and Mrs. A C Tolboe. Bridge was the evening's di version, with prizes won by Mr. and Mrs. Linck, Mrs. Robinson Robin-son and Rex Lamb. Mr. and Mrs. Max Peterson are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby boy born Wednesday, May 7, at the Roosevelt Hospital. Hos-pital. Jack Calvert and son, Jack, Jr., former residents of Myton, came from Salt Lake City last week for a short visit with old friends. Mrs. W. H. Linck, daughter, Mrs. Rex Lamb, and granddaughter, grand-daughter, Connie, went to Salt Lake City Friday to visit relatives, rel-atives, returning Saturday night. They were joined by Mr. Linck. who was attending- to business matters in the Capitol. Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Perry enjoyed en-joyed the weekend in Salt Lake City. While there they attended the reunion of the Nielson family fam-ily honoring Mrs. Ella Nielson, Mrs. Perry's mother, on Mother's Moth-er's Day. The event was held at Fairmont Park in Sugarhouse. Mr. and Mrs. Ashel Bingham, who have been visiting at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. LaVor Dennis, went to Sunnyside and other Carbon County points for a short visit with other members mem-bers of the Bingham family before be-fore returning to their home in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. George Funk went to Salt Lake City Saturday Satur-day to attend the State Class A and B track and field meet. Their son. Howard, a student at Wasatch Academy, represented his school at the meet. Charles Bertola, who has been receiving medical attention atten-tion in Salt Lake City following a recent operation, was returned home Saturday to convalesce. He is getting along nicely. |
