Show Mrs. Reese Feted h Logan On 88th Birthday An open house celebration honored Mrs. Florence Reese, who observed her 80th birthday Monday at the home of her sister, Mrs. A. V. Reese, in Logan. Lo-gan. Mrs. Reese has made her home in Roosevelt for the past years with her daughter, Mrs. Jack McArthur, and prior to that time lived in Logan. She has been active in L D S Church activities, serving as a Relief Society teacher for many years. She has had fourteen children, chil-dren, seven of whom are still living. She also has eight grandchildren grand-children and two great-grandchildren. At the present time she has three grandsons serving with the U. S. armed services. The following daughters and one son were in attendance at their mother's birthday celebration: celebra-tion: Mrs. McArthur, Roosevelt; Mrs E. C. Cox, New York; Mrs. Sidney G. Waugh, San Francisco; Francis-co; Mrs. L. M. Thomas. Mrs. Kenneth Chandler, Mrs. Harold Hansen and C. L. Reese, all of Las Vegas, Nevada. |
