Show Roosevelt Girls Attending FHA Convention Miss Joan Holgate, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Holgate, and Miss JoAnn Todd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd, both of Roosevelt, were among1 the nine teen-age girls who left Salt Lake City last Saturday to attend the F.H.A. convention being held in Estes Park. Colorado. Colo-rado. The group was accompanied by Miss Aileen Erickson, state director of home-making education. edu-cation. Miss Helen Cawley, of the Utah State Agricultural college, col-lege, and Mrs. Louis Munk, state F.H.A. mother. Miss Holgate, of Roosevelt high school, is state FHA treasurer, treas-urer, and Miss Todd, of Alterra high school, is the state song leader. Theme for the convention is "Leadership Training Today Brings Happier Homes Tomorrow," Tomor-row," with each girl responsible for a part on the program. Movies, Mo-vies, talks, exhibits and recreational recre-ational events are on the agenda for the Estes Park event. |
