Show Whiterocks Bear Dance Set For May 23 To 27 The traditional Ute Indian Bear Dance that is held annually an-nually at Whiterocks is slated to begin on Friday, May 23, and continue through the 27th, is an announcement made this week by Billie Chapoose, who has been one of the organizers of the affair over the years. Assisting As-sisting with arrangements this year are Ray Tavepont and Freddie Berrett. The public is invited to join in the annual dance that had its origin from the bear who sleeps through the winter and comes out of its hole in the spring. , |
