Show LeetoeBeiiiieti Fern Houston MIA HAS PARTY Tuesday evening the MIA gave its opening party at the church. Thirty young people enjoyed the games and lunch was served. Dancing was the main attraction. The Reverend Duane G. Hunt, of Salt Lake City, and Father I. N. Strancar of Roosevelt, were recent dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Coltharp. Ray Houston entertained at dinner Tuesday evening for his cousin and family, Thomas Anderson Ander-son of Los Angeles, Calif, and Mr. and Mrs .George Houston. The Andersons have been visiting here. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Miller, of San Angelo, Texas, were dinner guests at the Floyd Harmston home Saturday evening. The Millers Mil-lers are here to visit their son, George, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Miller, of Oakland, Calif., were visiting at the home of his aunt, Mrs. Horace Coltharp. They were dinner guests at the George Houston home Friday, Fri-day, just before leaving for Calif. The Secret Pal party was held at the home of Mrs. Leslie Taylor Friday afternoon. Tommy Anderson, of Los Angeles, An-geles, is spending the summer at the home of George Houston. His parents have been visiting here and returned home last week. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Harmston spent the 4th of July at the cabin of Eugene Harmston in Uinta Canyon. Lorrain Long attended a surprise party given for Miss Polly Mc-Conkie Mc-Conkie at Tridell, Wednesday evening. |
