Show f1iss Ruth ftlorrill Is Early September Bride TRIDELL (Special), A wedding wed-ding of interest to residents of this area is that of Miss Ruth Morrill, of Tridell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. McKee, and Kent Jensen, son of Mr. and Mrs Charles Jensen of Arcadia. The couple recited nuptial vows in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Thursday. Sept. 1st with President Raymond Clayton officiating. A wedding breakfast in the Doll House immediately im-mediately following the ceremony was hosted by parents of the bridegroom. A beautiful wedding reception held the following night, in the Tridell ward chapel was hosted host-ed by parents of the bride. The Mrs. Jensen was lovely in a shimmering shim-mering white satin floor-length wedding gown. The bodice was trimmed with tiny covered buttons down the front. The long dolman sleeves tapered to a lily point over the wrist. The soft, unpressed pleats made a beautiful flowing skirt. Her tulle veil of sheer illusion illus-ion was held in place by a tiara of orange blossoms and her corsage cor-sage was of white gladioli. The bride's mother was very attractive at-tractive in a blue crepe afternoon dress, complemented by a corsaae of gardenias. The groom's mother wore a wine afternoon dress with a corsage of gardenias. Kay Morrill, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, wearing a sheer pastel formal. Bridesmaids were, Peggy Goodrich, Polly Mc-Conkie Mc-Conkie and Maurine Allred, all in pastel formals. Little Sarah McKee, Mc-Kee, another sister of the bride, was flower girl. Giftbearers were Viola and LaRae McKee and Joyce Bartlett. Rulon Gilbert assisted as-sisted the groom as best man. In the gift room were Gertrude Turner, Alice Morrill and Ruth Goodrich. Serving were Fern Bartlett. Bart-lett. Vida McKee Elizabeth and Val'ois Morrill. Lester Bartlett, uncle of the bride, was master of ceremonies. The program consisted of the fol-, fol-, lowing numbers: Grace Larsen, vocal vo-cal solo; Louise Hacking, reading; Lela Bartlett, vocal solo; Rulon and Naomi Gilbert, vocal duet; Marta Morrill, piano selection; Maxine Murphy, reading; Lloyd Morrill, vocal solo. The bride was feted at a personal person-al shower held at her home Aug. 9th, and another shower was held at the Holgate home in Aifcadia, Aug. 27th. I The newlyweds .plan to make their home in Provo, where Mr. Jensen will attend the B.Y.U. They are now enjoying a honeymoon in Colorado. |
