Show Mr. and Mrs. Arden Sullivan are now making their home in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Nyberg returned from Salt Lake City Tuesday, where their son submitted sub-mitted to plastic surgery for the fifth time. Mrs. Dean Frandsen flew .o Treasure Island, San Francisco, last week to visit with her husband hus-band who is stationed there with the Naval reserves. Mr. and Mrs. Abe Elder left Tuesday for their home in Lawndale, Calif., after visiting here with Mrs. Elder's daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Bowden, and their new daughter, born Sept. 16. Mrs. Bowden's brother, Fer-ron Fer-ron Elder, was also a guest at the Bowden home for a few days before leaving to report for military service. He is- a graduate of Roosevelt high. JoAnn Todd, Shanna Bellon, LaWanna Glines,, members of the Future Homemareks club at Alterra high, and their leader, Mrs. Myrtle Lambert, will at-- at-- tend the state FFA and FHA convention at Cedar City av Zion National park, September 29-October 1, with the Cedar City FHA as host club. JoAnn will lead the . singing during the convention, and La Wanna will give the welcome address. Mrs. Lambert will lead in the discussion of FHA activities. ac-tivities. Mr and Mrs. Ronald Page and Mrs. Pearl Swain visited in Vernal Sunday with Mrs. Swain's niece, Mrs. Royce Mow-rey Mow-rey . Dr and Mrs. D. L. Galloway, of Portland, Ore., arrived Sunday Sun-day to spend two weeks here on a combined business and pleasure jaunt. Enroute to Roosevelt Roos-evelt they stopped in Murray to get Dr. Galloway's mother, Mrs. Leon Galloway, who has been staying- with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. K. J. Galloway, who recently underwent an emergency emergen-cy operation. M. J. Schulthess, serving with the U. S. Navy, wrote the Standard Stand-ard this week that he is now stationed at Sasep, Japan. He has been in service two years. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Burg-ener. Burg-ener. of Salt Lake City, were guests one day this week of Mr. and Mrs. J. Harold El-dredge. El-dredge. YU., motored to Roosevelt Tuesday to attend the missionary mission-ary farewell party for the six Roosevelt ward missionaries, who are leaving soon to serve their church. Mrs. Harvey C. Weiss and son. Max, who have spent the past two months here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Farrell jWilkins, left Thursday to estab-1 estab-1 lish her home at the Naval Training Center, San Diego.
