Show Ethel Beebe 70 of People Voted Tuesday Out of 97 registered voters in Altonah, 66 voted at the Primary election Sept. 11. Judges of election elec-tion were Lucy Jacobson, Norma Jessen and Ethel Beebe. This nearly a 70 vote. Relief Society held their work meeting Tuesday Sept. 11 starting at 2 p.m- Ladies present were; Margaret Maxfieljd, Margaret Reay Mary Riley, IleZ Ames, LaRue Fisher. 11 Mrs. Bill Brown and family of Logan are here visiting her parents, par-ents, ' Mr. and Mrs- George Carroll. Stake Officers Visit In Ward Visitors at Sunday School Sept. 9 were Stake President, Wm Brotherson of Boneta, his counselor counse-lor Bernard Winkler of Bluebell and Stake Sunday School, officers, Mrs. Vera Holder and Mrs. Eliza Nielson of Mt. Emmons. President Brotherson and Winkler were also speakers in Sacrament meeting. Mr- and Mrs. Glen Burgess of Orem spent the week end of Sept. 8th with relatives in Altonah. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Smuin of Vernal, and Mrs. Marian Berrett I of Bluebell. Home From Hospital Ferril Jacobson who has been in Salt Lake, where he was oper-ater oper-ater on Aug. 27 in the LDS hospital, hos-pital, was able to accompany Mr. and Mrs. Albert Potts to his home Saturday. He goes to Roosevelt for medical care when necessary. Ty Kolb and son, Don, went to Hill Creek last week on the deer hunt with bows and arrows. Ty came home with his deer. Mrs. Alta Timothy of Roosevelt and daughter, Mrs. Glenda Hall of Vernal, visited Mrs. Minnie Max-I Max-I field Monday. I Mrs. George Fisher Jr. and Mrs. j Dennie Ralphs and son Kenneth went to Salt Lake Sept. 10 to register Kenneth in Vocational School. Mrs. Mary Powell returned home from Vernal Sept. 9 from spending 5 days taking care of her mother who just got out of the Vernal hospital. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clark accompanied accom-panied her home to stay for a few days. Mr- and Mrs. Ted Collard and family of California visited with Mr and Mrs. Dru Allred and other relatives several days during dur-ing the week. Mrs. Cleon Watterson and sons of Salt Lake spent a number of days visiting her father, Clyde Lambert and brother, Ray Lambert Lam-bert and wife. Mrs. Lee Jessen and daughter Bonnie and granddaughter, Maxie Stevenson returned home Sept. 9 from a 2 weeks visit through California and Mexico. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Allen made a business trip to Salt Lake during the week- . Mrs. Ty Kolb and Mrs. Dru Allred motored to Salt Lake and back Sept. 12. Mr. and Mrs. Melwood Wall and family were over night guests at the home of Mrs. Wall's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor, in Duchesne Sept. 11- Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jacobson and son Ferril spent a few days in Price and Springville transact-, ing business. |
