Show MARRIED IN EIKO Wedding bells again have been ringing in Ballard. John Tryon Jr. was married to Jean Miller of Gusher, at Elko, Nevada recently. The young ' couple at present are living with John's parents in Ballard. Bal-lard. Mrs. Earl Winn accompanied her husband on a trip to North Dakota, where he had gone for the government. Mr. and Mrs. Azel Seeley are spending some time in Ballard now fixing up their home. They have been in Washington, North Dakota, and Idaho, where Mr. Seeley has had employment with Leland Wiscombe. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Snyder and family of Salt Lake spent the week end at the Charles Bingham home. Woodrow White, brother of Alden Al-den White, has recently been chosen cho-sen as Bishop of the Glines Ward. Mrs. Clair Hollingsworth was a substitute teacher for Mrs. Erma Anderton one day last week. Kent Brighton, who recently returned from an LDS Mission, was one of the speakers in Sacrament Sac-rament meeting Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ferris Winn and family, Mr- and Mrs. Boyd Winn and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Labrum from Rexburg, Idaho, all met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gardner on Sunday Sept. 9 for a family gathering. Mrs. Effie Winn, the mother was the guest of honor. Mrs. Winn left with Mr. and Mrs. Labrum to spend the winter in Rexburg, Idaho. Glen Oldroyd, county Primary Supervisor visited school at Alterra one day this week. Also Mrs. Lola Christensen visited in the Alterra lunch room on Thursday. Lunch count runs quite high at Alterra serving from 265 to 275 and over. More students are coming in each week for hot lunches. |
