Show Raedlett Mrs. J. E. Jensen Lions Meet To Hear Two Speakers The Randlett-Ouray Lions club met Thursday evening at the home of Harold Dudley. Speakers for the evening were Hugh W. Colton who talked on Reclamation and Small Loans Bills and Lawrence Siddoway. Refreshments were served to those attending. Mrs. Marian Shelton and son Duane visited Monday at the home of her parents. Stake Primary president, Lecta Horrocks of Neola was a visitor at our primary Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs- Sharon Cummings were Stake Mutual visitors Tuesday Tues-day evening. Mr. Glena Oldroyd visited the Avalon School Monday. A special meeting was held Wednesday evening to discuss chosing someone to represent us as a school board member. LADIES MAKE QUILT The Relief Society work meet-1 ing was held Thursday instead of Tuesday because of the Primary Pri-mary election. The ladies quilted on a quilt for Mrs. Jennie McMul-lin. McMul-lin. Pot luck lunch was served to those attending. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marshall and family spent the week end visiting relatives in Salt Lake. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Don Van Dyke and family in Lew iston. Mrs. Marshall and Mrs. Van Dyke are sisters. Max Abbott visited at the Avalon Ava-lon School Wednesday-Mrs. Wednesday-Mrs. Florence Elsworth was released re-leased from the hospital Wednesday. Wednes-day. She will stay with her daughters, daugh-ters, Mildred and Corrine in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Barney took their daughter Gwen to Roosevelt Monday for medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Chandler spent part of the week here caring for their place. Miss Irene Jensen spent the week end in Roosevelt at the horn of hr sistr and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs- Norton Shelton. |
