Show BASIN BRIEFS I Wayne Faulkner, Joanne Bee-croft, Bee-croft, Katheryn and Grace Sten-' berg, Hal Helphrey, Jimmy Sut-teer, Sut-teer, Fort Duchesne; Gerrie and Jo Anne Griffin, Nancy and Bob Marimon, Whiterocks; Joanne Jo-anne Walton, Joyce Jordan, and Gary Mullins, Roosevelt, have all returned to resume their studies at Wasatch Academy, Mt. Pleasant, after spending the Christmas holidays with their parents. Quireno Trujillo has returned home after spending the holidays holi-days in Park City with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Merce Trujillo, and family. Eva, Ei-ma and Burr Eldredge, Bonnie Rae Hanson, Renee La-brum, La-brum, Earl McKenna, Jack Alexander, Al-exander, Rollin Campbell, Howard How-ard Galloway, Ray N e i 1 s o n, Fern Rasmussen, Betty Jo Sprouse, Varney McLea, Bob Benson, Jack Nixon, LeRoy Pu- jl los, Rodney Perry, and Kent Nelson have returned to Provo to enroll at B.Y.U. for the winter win-ter quarter. Earl Mowrey, who is attending attend-ing a watch making school in Los Angeles, has been visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Al-vin Al-vin Mowrey. of Tridell. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Stewart, of Dragerton, spent the weekend week-end in Roosevelt. Sarah Colton, a student at B.Y.U. , spent the Christmas holidays hol-idays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. O. Colton, Jr. Cal Wilkins left Monday to resume his studies at the U, after af-ter spending his vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wilkins. A week of Bible study on the Book of Acts will begin Monday at 7 p. m. at the Roosevelt Baptist Bap-tist church, and will continue through Friday. The public is invited. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Sather left last Friday to spend a few days in Wyoming with friends and relatives. Severe storms in the area have forced them to prolong pro-long their visit. John Roller, who is attending the U. of U., and his sister, Elsie Hoover, who is taking nurses training at the Salt Lake LDS hospital, left January 2 after spending their holiday vacation va-cation with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Roller. Visiting their mother, Mrs. Afton Forakis of Lapoint, over the holiday weekend were; Mr. and Mrs. Elden Osborne and children, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Callahan, of Riverton; Mr. and Mrs. Irey Forakis, of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Petro Forakis and baby, of Whiterocks. White-rocks. Mr. and M,rs. T. Cos-turos, Cos-turos, of Roosevelt, and Miss Mary Ann Winn, of Neola, were also guests at the Forakis home on Christmas day. Guests on New Year's eve at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Oldroyd were Mr. and Mrs. Morrill Labrum and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Larson. George Dale Crozier, airman, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Crozier, Roosevelt, is now stationed sta-tioned at the Naval Air Station, Kodiak, Alaska. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Wiscombe, of Provo, spent the weekend in Roosevelt with relatives and friends. Marvin Penfield, stationed with the Army Air Force at Denver, returned to his base Tuesday morning, after spending- the weekend in Roosevelt as a guest of Cal Wilkins. Bernell Buchanan, who has been visiting visit-ing with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Buchanan, returned re-turned to Denver with Marvin where he is also stationed with the AAF. |
