Max, laboring in Finland writes he is in a beautiful beau-tiful country and that the people peo-ple are very nice. The house on the farm belonging belong-ing to L. E. Robinson burned to the ground Sunday evening. No one was living there at the time, and the origin of the fire is unknown. Despite the efforts of neighbors to save the building, build-ing, it was a complete loss. Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Pool, of Salt Lake City, spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bracken. Bonnie Hullinger, who has been in Arizona for Christmas, is spending the balance of her vacation with home folks. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Snyder and small sons, of Altonah. visited vis-ited at the Charles Bingham home during the holidays. A Thursday guest of the the Bing-hams Bing-hams was Mrs. James Miller, of Springville. Mr. and Mrs. Eric H. Sto'lla left Monday for their home in Alameda. Calif. Mrs. LeRoy Rust visited Wednesday at the home of her brother, Geo. Bracken, while Mr. Rust was attending to business busi-ness matters at Ft. Duchesne and Ouray. Mr. and Mrs. Garn Bodily have returned to Salt Lake City, after spending Christmas with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Janvi Butcher and small son are living in the Owen house, just south of the Ballard chapel. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Elmer made a trip to Vernal. Dec. 29. to testify to the recent theft of three head of stock from his farm. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bracken and son, Lynn, drove to Vernal Fridav with Mr. and Mrs. Du-ane Du-ane Bracken. |
