A graduate of Roosevelt hign school and the University of California, Mr. Shisler is the son of Thomas R. Shisler, of Roosevelt, and lived here during his early life. He is a professional member of the American Geophysical Union of the National Research Council. In 1949 he was selected for Whose Who in the south and southwest for his distinguished distin-guished research articles on tropical meteorology.
