Show Lyle Young 0ns Of Five Demos Uho Seek County Office Lyle L. Young, Mt. Emmons rancher, is a candidate for state representative from Duchesne County on the Democratic Party ticket. He will oppose the Republican Re-publican Party Candidate Wm. N. Brotherson, of Boneta, incumbent in-cumbent representative, who is aspiring to a third term as representative rep-resentative from Duchesne County to the Utah House of Representatives. Mr. Young, who is one of five Democrats seeking office in the county this year, is a long-time resident of Duchesne County. He has been active in politics, having served on the -board of county commissioners for six years, from 1936 through 194?, and acting as chairman of the commission during 1939 and 1940.- - 4 . Other Democratic Party members mem-bers who filed their declaration of candidacy prior to the July 25 deadline are: (for 4-year commissioner) M. R. Michie, Tabiona rancher and present chairman of the Duchesne County Coun-ty Commission; Ray Brown, Montwel rancher and part own-2r own-2r of a Roosevelt garage, auto sales and implement company, who is completing a two-year term as v county commissioner; and Ralph H, Halstead, Duchesne Du-chesne rancher and theatre manager. man-ager.
