Anyone Any-one not receiving a Questionnaire Question-naire may request this work by contacting my office. 4-H club members and leaders in the county are reminded that it is now time for all reports and records books to be sent in. Every record book should be in this office by October 8th. These will be checked and returned to the members. Each leader should submit his or her list of those who have completed projects during the past year. The following constitutes completion com-pletion of a project: 1. Do the work required in the project outline. 2. Keep a satisfactory record. 3. Exhibit the work or article at some Fair, Show, or other event. County winners will receive medals, and State winners receive re-ceive trips to Chicago, Scholarships, Scholar-ships, etc. Members who are interested in-terested should request Standard Stan-dard Report forms and additional addition-al information from us. Again this fall we are grading range bulls at the breeder's ranches for those who request it. This work will be done on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 3rd and 4th, with George Henderson, Hen-derson, livestock specialist from Logan doing the grading. So far we have received requests from Emil Munz, Jerry Merkley, R. S. Lusty, Lloyd Remund, W. W. McConkie, and Winterton Bros. We are making a bull tour out of this and invite anyone who is interested to be with us. We will start at Emil Munz' in Duchesne Du-chesne at 9:00 on Wednesday, Oct. 3rd, and after finishing the others in the Duchesne area, will come to Arcadia, and Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Anything not finished the first day will be completed the following day. This year we are inviting everyone ev-eryone present to try their hand at grading. Blanks will be provided pro-vided and bulls numbered for your convenience. When the bull grading is completed an opportunity oppor-tunity will be provided to compare com-pare your grading with that of others. This is also an excellent time to select a range bull, if you will need one by next spring. It is always easier to obtain a good range bull at this time of year than if you wait |
