Show Ward Changes Meeting Schedule Ward Sacrament meetings, which have been held immediately immed-iately after Sunday School in the past, are to be held hereafter on Sunday evening. Spfcial speakers were invited to address the meeting Sept. i6. In addition Miss Beth Winkler, of Bluebell, sang a solo, accompanied by Miss Afton Smithson. Guest speakers were Bernard Winkler, of the stake presidency; Willis Potter, of the high council, and Arlin Potter, former bishop of Talmage, now living in Lehi. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Mecham Mech-am were Mrs. Mecham's brother. Mac Brandon, and his wife, of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Hansen made a trip to Salt Lake during the weekend to get material for the cafe they are building at Altamont. Al-tamont. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stevenson Steven-son and three children attended the State Fair in Salt Lake on j Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Leland's mother, Mrs. Lottie Stevenson, who has spent nearly two months with her son and daughter-in-law, accompanied accompan-ied them to her home in Salt Mr. and Mrs. U. R. (Dutch) Stevenson, of Grand Coulee, Wash., left Monday after a month's visit with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stevenson and other relatives. rel-atives. They plan to visit in Salt Lake before continuing the trip home. Dutch and Leland are brothers. Wesley Thacker, who has been in poor health for the past month, is in Salt Lake City for medical attention. |
