Show Relief Society Reorganizes; Officers Named A new group of officers will assume duties of the Roosevelt LDS ward Relief Society, following fol-lowing their sustaining at Sacrament Sac-rament services last Sunday evening. eve-ning. I Chosen as president to fill the office vacated when Mrs. Mildred Mil-dred Smith moved to Duchesne, was Carma Winterton, to be assisted as-sisted by the following officers: Myra Stewart, employment placement counselor; Delora Sullivan, Sul-livan, work director counselor; Cora Todd, secretary; Nettie Reynolds, chorister; Verda Mae Mortensen, organist; Margaret Timothy, magazine representative; representa-tive; Delia Whitehead, theology leader; Veda Labrum, work leader; lead-er; Louisa Buchanan, topic teacher leader; Lurrine Allen, literary leader. A social science leader is yet to be named. The opening social of the organization or-ganization is slated for Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 2 p. m. and will especially es-pecially honor Mrs. Smith. All Relief Society members are urged urg-ed to keep this date in mind. Mrs. Winterton, new president, presi-dent, wished to take this opportunity oppor-tunity of thanking the following ladies and girls who assisted in canning 500 cans of corn last week: Bernice Edrington, Agnes Lambert, Nida Winterton, Delora Sullivan, Cora Todd, Helen Col-ton, Col-ton, Margaret Fenn, Alyce Ay-cock, Ay-cock, Sarah Johnson, Carol Todd, Cherril Todd and Ann Payne. |
