Show Fire Fighting School Sei For SVlay 25th I The Uintah Basin fire training school will be held Friday, May 5, at the Whiterockg Indian school gymnasium commencing at 10 a, m., is an announcement made by Paul A. Manse, range manager. At Friday morning's meeting talks on civil defense and fire I control, the state's role in fire prevention and a film on fire suppression wiH be featured. I A noon lunch will be served in Uinta canyon, followed by a field demonstration of fire suppression, sup-pression, crew organization and safe use of tools. Several prominent prom-inent fire control personnel will be special guests and will assist with the program.- The fire training school was organized to give an opportunity for all iire coordinators in Duchesne, Du-chesne, ' Uintah and Daggett counties to become acquainted with the personnel and fire organization or-ganization of all other cooper-atprs, cooper-atprs, is comprised pf the following follow-ing training groups; County sher iffs, state highway patrol, state road foremen, local rancher co-operators, co-operators, Forest Service, Bureau Bu-reau of Land Management, boil Conservation Service, National Park service, Indian service and Utah State Forestry department. |
