Show Future Farmers Toyack Chapter By Tom Rowley, Reporter Four ag members received awards from the high school for their achievements during the past year. Vard and Foy Swain each received a certificate for winning a blue ribbon at the County Fair last fall. Ronald Zirker received one for winning a blue ribbon at the Intermoun-tain Intermoun-tain Jr. Livestock show and for exhibiting at three stock shows during the past year. Tom Rowley Row-ley received awards for winning blue ribbons at three shows, for exhibiting at three shows, for winning the region ag. talks, and for holding the State Farmer degree. de-gree. Toyack will be well represented repre-sented in Vernal this week at the Uintah Basin Jr. Livestock show. The following plan to participate: par-ticipate: Sherman and Arlan Crozier, Max Patry, and Ronald Zirker will all show fat beef; Deyere Ostler, breeding' beef; Keith Lemon, breeding swine; Keith Neilson, breeding swine; Tom Rowley, breeding and fat I swine; Vard and Foy Swain, i breeding sheep. Vard Swain, Byrell Lamb, Leon Le-on Ross, Ronald Zirker. Keith Mortensen and Tom Rowley will judge in the junior judging contest. |
