Show MM Ellen Bracken Eight Ballard Students Receive Diplomas The following students from Ballard graduated from Alterra high school on May 17: Lynn Bracken, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bracken; Diane Hullinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hullinger; Darrell McMullin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McMullin, Mark Rasmussen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Rasmussen. Shanna Bellon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Bellon; Stephen El-dredge, El-dredge, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Eldredge, Cloyd Wis-combe, Wis-combe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur. Ar-thur. Wiscombe; Blaine Elmer, son Of Mr. and Mrs." Raymond Elmer. The Elmers have moved to Ogden now. The Graduation exercises were very well attended. Mr. and Mrs. Max Knorr and family, of Salt Lake City, called at the Angus Anderson home during the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle and son, Douglas, spent several days in Salt Lake City During the week. Mrs. Fred Peck cared for the other children during their absence. Mrs. Marva Labrum and Mrs. Emma Brower, of Rexburg, Ida., have spent the past week with relatives and with their mother, Mrs. Effie Winn .who is in the Vernal hospital. Mr. . and Mrs. George Winn and Mr. and Mrs. Elbie Winn, of Grants Pass, Oregon, arrived Saturday to' be here when their mother was operated on Monday morning. Mrs. Pearl Jenkins is visiting in Salt Lake City at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Garn Bodily. Bod-ily. Glenna Betts, daughter of Mr. arid Mrs. Clarence Betts. . has gone to spend the summer months with her sister, Mrs. Bill Haws at Tooele. Miss Phyllis White, who is attending at-tending school at the B.Y.U. spent the week-end at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elden White. Mrs. Farrell Rasmussen returned re-turned recently from Eugene, where she had visited at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lennis Rasmussen. The Rasmussens are the proud parents of a baby boy. Mrs. A. W. Seeley and son, Devon, of Salt Lake City, visited vis-ited at the Farrell Rasmussen home while here to attend the Alterra graduation exercises, Sherman Asay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Seth Asay, who is attending at-tending school at U. of U., spent the past week-end with his parents. par-ents. Mrs. Ralph O'Neil, of Price, has been visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McMullin. She attended the graduation exercises of her brother, Darrell. Frank Bingham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham, and Ensign Clark, son of Mr.- and . Mrs. L. E. Clark, have gone to Salt Lake City to seek employment. employ-ment. Mr. and Mrs. Davis Morrill and daughters, Barbara and Shirley, of Tridell, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Simper Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Woodward Wood-ward and baby, of Ogden. visited Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mis. Elton Kettle. Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Sursher and family returned recently from a trip to Idaho. 'They visited vis-ited at the home of their daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hills at Jerome. Their daughter, Joan, remained there to visit for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Anderson Ander-son attended the funeral services servic-es for Otto' Nielson at Myton last week. |
