Show FORT DUCHESNE WOMAN'S CLUB FORT DUCHESNE Mrs. Stephen Abbot, of Randlett, a former member of the Fort Duchesne Du-chesne Woman's club was a very welcome guest and speaker at a recent meeting held in the club building. She presented a very inspiring message, "Challenge to Youth," which was a fitting climax to the club's study for the year which has stressed the education of our youth toward becoming a mature generation. It was announced that Miss Jeanne Jensen had been selected from Alterra high school to attend at-tend Girls' State in June, under the sponsorship of the local club. Chairman of the evening's program pro-gram was Mrs. Forrest R. Stone. She and Mrs. M. R. Curtis served as hostesses. At another recent meeting of the club under the chairmanship chairman-ship of Mrs. E. M. Axtell. Grant Mace, Uintah Basin Scout director, presented an illustrated lecture on the importance of organized or-ganized activities in which scouting scout-ing plays such a great part in the lives of our youth. Mrs. C. E. Nichols and Mrs. B. J. Loucks were hostesses for the evening. |
