FJeiy Courthouse Site Selected On Tuesday Site for the new courthouse for Duchesne County was choi-en choi-en at the Tuesday meeting of . . , , ; county, city and district school officials at Duchesne. It was agreed to locate the one-story building in a central position on the present courthouse blocK, giving the building a northern front. Brick is the favored material for the exterior construction, reports Henry Fetzer, architect, of Salt Lake City, who is Li charge ' of resigning the new county building. Those present at the meeting wsre Duchesne Countv Commission Commis-sion Chairman M. R. Michie. Commissioner Floyd Case, Com-, missioner Ray Brown, Commissioner-Elect Floyd E. Lamb. Commissioner-Elect Clinton J Mickelson, Superintendent Dean C. Christensen, of the Duchesne County School District. Mayor Otto E. Johnsen of Duchesne: County Attorney James R. Hall. County Clerk Porter L. Merrell, Sheriff Arzy H. Mitchell, and Henry Fetzer of the firm Fetzer and Fetzer, architects. The architects were authorized author-ized to continue with making schematic drawings, inaugurat-rating inaugurat-rating the proposed changes -ade by the various representatives representa-tives at the courthouse meeting. |
