Show Uatiooal Parks He-elects Rooseve!! Mayor Paul Murphy, mayor of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, was re-elected vice-president of the Utah National Parks Council', Coun-cil', Boy Scouts of America, at the annual council meeting held in Provo, on September 21, according to Rul.on Dean Skinner, field Scout executive. Members of the council's executive execu-tive board from Duchesne County include: James E. Bacon, Roosevelt; Glen Mohlman, Altamont; and El-vin El-vin Barker, Duchesne. Three other men of Duchesne County were named as members-at-large of the executive board. These men include Rowan C. Stutz, Duchesne; Loman F. Hutchings, Roosevelt; and Don Nielson, Roosevelt. Roos-evelt. These men help direct the policy pol-icy and activities of the entire Utah National Parks Council. Meetings are held every two months on the first Wednesday of the month in Provo. Their next meeting is slated for November 2. A delegation of 18 men from the Uintah Basin participated in the annual meeting of the council on September 21 in Provo. Attending the meeting was Harrold Alvord, deputy regional executive from Los Angeles, Calif. Roosevelt district sent five men to the meeting: James E. Bacon, George Hacking, Mr. Murphy, Zane Asay and Mr. Hutchings. Grant Peel represented Moon Lake district dis-trict and Mr. Stutz, Mr. Barker, Ned Fairbanks and Earl' Jordan attended from Duchesne district. |
