Show - . 'Best Yet' Holiday On Ice Planned Producers of the Holiday on Ice show, starting Sept. 15 at the State Fair grounds, Sait Lake City, say that the 1951 edition will outdo even last year's presentation with many novel lighting and scenic effects, ef-fects, 800 gorgous brand new costumes, sparkling new song and dance routines, more clowns and comedy skits, new skating stars offering a variety of different dif-ferent specialties, and many of the old familiars, such as Murray Mur-ray Galbraith, Leo Freisinger, Dorothy Goos, Bobby Blake, and, of course, Phil Hiser in his "Down Memory Lane" medley of old fashioned waltzes with lovely Mae Freisinger. Holiday On Ice will appear nightly at the Fair Grounds coliseum Sept. 15-23, with matinees mat-inees on Sept. 17 and 23 only. For those who cannot call for tickets at the box office, mail orders are acceptable if a stamped, self-addressed re-1 turn envelope accompanies re-mittance re-mittance to Holiday on Ice, ! Utah State Fair, Salt Lake City. Also, two choices of dates should be mentioned. |
