Show SOCIETY Peggy Oldroyd, Society Reporter TUESDAY BRIDGE Charming hospitality prevailed prevail-ed at the Sam Weiss residence on September 5 when Mrs. Weiss entertained - members of the Tuesday Bridge club. A delicious salad course luncheon, served against a background back-ground of asters, was enjoyed by twelve guests. Bridge provided pro-vided the balance of the evening's eve-ning's diversion. . Mrs. Eugene Harmston, Mrs. Howard Harrison, and Mrs. Ray S. Jordan won prizes. NEIGHBORHOOD SEWING Bouquets of brightly colored sweetpeas formed the decorative decora-tive background at the Llewelyn Llew-elyn Jenkins residence Wednesday Wednes-day evening, August 30, when Mrs. Jenkins entertained members mem-bers of her club. JUST-A-MERE Members of Just-A-Mere club deviated from their regular Thursday evening1 meeting, and convened Friday, September 1, at the home of-Mrs. Clair Lar- sen- j , A temptingly arranged des- sert luncheon was served at ismall tables, followed by an evening of bridge. LAWN PARTY The Ed Labrum residence was the scene of gay festivities Friday Fri-day evening, September 1, when Audrey Hall, Glenda Rae Robinson, Rob-inson, Barbara Harrison, Glenda Glen-da Nelson and JoAnn Labrum entertained twenty-one friends at a lawn party. Entertainment featured lawn games and a scavenger hunt, followed by delicious refreshments. |
