Show Myton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Mrs. Floyd Lamb and Miss Alice Todd entertained Satur-' Satur-' day afternoon at a bridge luncheon lunch-eon at the Lamb home. The guest list included Mrs. Bliss Lott, Mrs. Kenneth Tinsley, Mrs. R. H. Burdick, Mrs. Homer Robinson, Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mrs. Rex Lamb, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mrs. H. W. Davenport, Daven-port, Mrs. W. R. Harris, Miss Anna Hunt, and Mrs. W. R. Preece. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Robinson and Mrs. Lott. Lee Cooper and Charles Sands .returned Thursday evening eve-ning from . Salt Lake City where they attended sessions of the American Mining Congress. Considerable interest was expressed ex-pressed there, they reported, in connection with local uranium deposits. Dr. R. C. Dalgleish was a guest Thursday and Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish. Dr. Dalgleish is state director of dental health. Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Marva Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra L. Peterson, to William Wil-liam J. Orr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Orr, of River-ton, River-ton, Friday, Aug. 25, in the Riverton First Ward chapel. The bridegroom, a former resident of Duchesine, is a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. George D. Hemphill, Hemp-hill, of Myton. Miss Helene Hemphill spent a few days recently at Riverton, a guest of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Orr. While there she attended the wedding of her cousin, William J. Orr. Mrs. Roland Krebs, Jr., and small daughter were weekend guests of her father, H. L. Cra-po. Cra-po. Other guests included Mrs. Kreb's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Harris, who also visited Mr. Harris' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Harris. Mr. and Mrs. John Pfister ar-rrived ar-rrived Saturday from Jamestown, James-town, Kan. to visit Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson. Mr. Pfister is Mrs. Robinson's brother. Miss Genele Smith and Miss Joan Gingell arrived Saturday from Salt Lake to spend the Labor Day weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gingell. Clint McShane, of Salt Lake, visited Friday with Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish. Mrs. Lydia Peatross visited last week with relatives in Price. Mr. and Mrs. ' Homer Robinson Robin-son enjoyed a weekend visit from their son, Max Robinson, of Denver, and their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Cleone Sproul, of Salt Lake. Mrs. Andrew Tolboe and son, A. C. Tolboe spent the weekend in Provo. Mrs. A. C. Tolboe, who had been visiting relatives there, returned home with them. Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Thompson were Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Christen-sen Christen-sen and daughter, and Leroy I Christensen, Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Uresk left Monday morning on a business busi-ness trip to Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Smith arrived ar-rived Saturday from the Rainbow Rain-bow mine, bringing their daughters, daugh-ters, Alice Bell and Ardeth, who will make their home with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Harris while attending school here. Mr. and Mrs. Smith returned to Rainbow Monday. Miss Anna Hunt arrived Friday Fri-day night from Salt Lake to spend the weekend with her father, Lee Cooper. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Larsen and family moved to Provo last week. Mr. Larsen had been associated as-sociated with the Fowler garage gar-age for two years. Fae Robinson drove to Mt. Pleasant Monday to enroll at Wasatch Academy. Her brother, Max, accompanied her, then returned re-turned to his home in Denver, Colo. Helene Hemphill returned Monday to resume her studies at Wasatch Academy, Mr. Pleasant. Pleas-ant. She spent the summer with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Hemphill. Mrs. Lavor Peterson, who recently re-cently underwent an operation in Salt Lake City, was sufficiently suffi-ciently recovered last week to be returned home. Miss LaVora Murray left Thursday for Brigham City, where she will teach physical education at Box Elder high school. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Murray accompanied accompan-ied her to Brigham City, and returned re-turned Friday. Mr. Murray's sister, Miss Sarah Murray, of Murray, came back' with them for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Madsen and family, of Salt Lake City, were weekend visitors at the home of Mrs. Madsen's parents Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Blaine. Walter Blaine, a visitor at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Blaine, for the past two months, will leave late this week for his home in Tan-ma Fla. ' Mrs. Iva Adams arrived last week from Heber. She will again make her home with Mr and Mrs. W. R. Harris, while teaching at the Myton elementary elemen-tary school. |
