Show County Leases 239 Acres Of Land Near Duchesne To Stanolind Oil Co. The Duchesne Board of County Coun-ty Commissioners Tuesday voted to grant an oil and gas lease to the Stanolind Oil and Gas Co. upon approximately 289 acres ac-res of land, located in Township 2 South, Range 4 West, U.S.M., Section 18, WV2EV2; Section 19, Lots 1-2, NE14NEV4. Subject to approval of the title, Stanolind Stano-lind will pay Duchesne county a bonus of $2,892.60 for the lease. The lease will be for five years, and will carry provisions for annual delay rental of $1 per acre and the usual one-eighth one-eighth royalties on oil and gas. Commissioner A. M. Burton moved that Stanolind's offer be accepted, and he was seconded by Commissioner James Lloyd. Ed. M. Cartron, of Casper, Wyo., represented Stanolind. John Zupko, o f Roosevelt, weed sprayer, reported to the county commissioners regarding his Activities. Commissioner Lloyd reported that 160 acres of land in Sec. 32, T2S, R1W, heavily infested with white-top weeds, should be sprayed, as well as a four-acre tract owned by Pinley Dye, of Cedarview. Duchesne county ordinance No. 43 was revised to include licenses of $50 for livestock auction auc-tion rings and theatres. |
