Show i Legion Birthday Party Honors 34th Anniversary Approximately fifty Legionnaires, Legion-naires, Auxiliary members and partners joined in the successful success-ful annual party held last Thursday night at the Legion Barracks commemorating the 34th birthday anniversary of the National American Legion. Master of ceremonies for the evening was Commander Bill Murdock, who introduced the following: program numbers: a trombone solo, Carl Jensen, and a sousaphone solo, Lowell Long. Although several games were arranged, bingo was preferred by the crowd. Prizes were awarded for the various activities, activi-ties, and went to Cliff Angus, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Killian, Mrs. Edward Yack, Mrs. Elmer El-dredge, El-dredge, Mrs. Reva Owen, Mrs. Kirk Benson, Wilford Robinson, Themis Costuros and James Mil- A delicious luncheon was served buffet style by the hostesses, hos-tesses, Leah Allred, Alice Ay-cock, Ay-cock, Bliss Eldredge and Verda Nelson. The lace-covered table was centered with a beautiful three-tiered cake, having yellow frosting and blue candles. The cake was on a musical cake plate, which played "Happy Birthday."
