Show llandlctt By Mrs. Viola Jensen Primary Groups Honor New Blazer Class Tuesday the Guides and Trek-kers Trek-kers classes in Primary held a welcome party for the new Blazer class. Games were played play-ed under the direction of Mrs. Ethel Durfee. Mrs. Myril Moore welcomed the boys in to the Trail Builder group. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. Mrs. Valenna Wall, of Vernal, Ver-nal, spent Sunday visiting at the home of Mr and Mrs. Henry Hen-ry Wall. The Randlett ward leadership meeting was held Sunday evening eve-ning at the ward house. The school - nurse visited school, Monday and checked the pupils' hearing. I A photographer took pictures of all the school children at the Avalon school, Wednesday. Mrs. Jennie McMullen, a Primary mother, entertained the Group 2 Primary class, ! Tuesday. Games were enjoyed and refreshments served to the children. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lewis attended a stake dancing class Wednesday evening in the Roosevelt stake, house. Mr. and Mrs. William Chandler Chand-ler took their daughter, Beatrice Bea-trice to Salt Lake City, Monday Mon-day for a medical check-up. Mr. and Mrs. Chandler returned home Monday evening. Mrs. Chandler returned to Salt Lake Tuesday evening and remained until Saturday when she brought Beatrice home. OPENING SOCIAL The Relief Society opening social was held Tuesday in the 1 Relief Society room. Games were played under the direction of Mrs. Hazel Brough. A delicious de-licious lunch was served to everyone. Mrs. Marian Taylor was in. charge of the lunch. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Littleton and Mr. and Mrs. Jack McAr-thur McAr-thur and baby, of Leota, were Thursday evening visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Young. Mrs. Marian Shelton spent Thursday and Friday visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen. Mr. and Mrs; Sheldon Lewis and baby were Vernal visitors, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Shel-don Lewis and family were Roosevelt visitors Saturday. FAREWELL PARTY The Primary officers and teachers gave a farewell party Saturday evening in honor of Mrs. Jean Rogers, who is moving mov-ing to Salt Lake City. Games were played under the direction of Mrs. Myril Moore. Apple cider and doughnuts and rolls were served by Mrs. Carol Lewis and. Mrs. Afton Rogers. The party was held at the home of Mrs. Zilpha Wall. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Daniels and family, of Ft. Duchesne, and Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Broome and family, of Vernal, were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Young. Mrs. Jessie Pickup spent Saturday, Sat-urday, visiting in Vernal at the home of her mother, Mrs. Ora Coston. Sunday visitors at the J. E. Jensen home were, Don Shel- ton, of Bridgeland; Mr. and Mrs. Norton Shelton, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, and Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lewis and family. Mrs. Marian Young and son are visiting in Lapoint at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rulen Rasmussen |
