Show ARCADIA Mrs. Elsie Bird New Son Arrives At Mullins' Home Mr. and Mrs. Max Mullins are rejoicing over the arrival of a son born August 6 at the Roosevelt Hospital. The little bundle of joy tipped the scale at 8 lbs. 14 oz and will be known as Kenneth O. Mullins The proud papa is serving with the Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff MeKenna , and family left Saturday for a ! trip to Nevada and other points of interest. Mrs. Cynthia Larsen went to Salt Lake to attend the Keel reunion and from there will o on to Idaho for a visit before be-fore returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Holgate have received word that a baby I boy has been born to Mr. and Mrs. Pat Conaway at Richfield. Mrs. Conaway was the former Miss Elva Holgate. Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Lusty made a trip to Salt Lake recently re-cently to get Mr. Lusty's sister, who will visit with them for a while. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Evans and family enjoyed a fishinc trip during the week. Douglas Duncan, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Duncan, of Neola, spent the weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. 'Charlie Bird, while Mr. and Mrs. Duncan attended a reunion re-union in Daniels Canyon. Gae Ross, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abner Ross, of Midvale, is visiting with her aunt and uncle. un-cle. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross. Delaine Bird stayed over the weekend with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Solmonson, at Roosevelt. Mrs. Betty Rogers and her two children have returned from an extended visit in California. Relief Society officers and teachers attended the two-stake convention at Duchesne Wednesday, Wednes-day, August 6. Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Richens visited in Salt Lake over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen and son, Kent, and Bob Calvin, accompanied by other relatives, spent a few days at Green Lake last week. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross during tlvj week were Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Whitney, of Orem; Mrs. Cynthia Cyn-thia Massey. Vernal; Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Keller and family. Nenhi; and Miss Winona Massey. of Vernal. Lynn Ross accompanied Ha-, Ha-, zel and Floyd Ross to Salt Lake on a business trip. I Karen and Brent Ross, of I Roosevelt, are visiting their I Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs Lynn Ross. i Mr. and Mrs. John Zirker and son, Ronald, returned Sun-I Sun-I day from Moses Lake, Wash-I Wash-I ''nton. where they have been , helping to harvest crops. I Julius Zirker has returned to hi? home in Moses Lake. Wash. He has bpen looking afr th;ns hpre while Mr. and Mrs. John 7'rker were in Moses Lake. Mrs. Zirker received medicai treatment while she was gone. Thomas Larsen returned Friday Fri-day from a trip to British Columbia Co-lumbia with a group of Naval Reservists. Thomas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James O. Larsen. |
