Amer-ica. He replaces Wesley R. Dickerson, who was called to the position of Roosevelt Stake Sunday School superintendent. super-intendent. This week a vote of thanks to Wesley Dickerson for, his swell job as Advancement Chairman of the Roosevelt District. Dis-trict. Wes has done an outstanding out-standing job in getting monthly I Courts of Honor underway in the district and also District Boards of Review for Star, life and Eagle ranks. He's been , Johnny-on-th-spot whenever any Scout or Explorer wanted assistance as-sistance in advancing along the Scouting Trail. Good Juck to Wes in his venture as Stake Sunday School superintendent. I Taking Wes's place in the Advancement Chairmanship is Sharon C u m m i n g s. Sharon teaches Ag and English at Un-1 ion and originally comes to us from Upalco. He's extremely interested in-terested in doing Roosevelt District Dis-trict a good job and plans to continue the monthly Courts of Honor, Boards of Review, and in addition, set up a District Merit Badge Counselor staff as soon as possible. We certainly welcome Sharon into the district's dis-trict's midst and extend our support to him in his important task. Also recently added to the District staff are Dr. Wesley ; Peterson and Cliff Olsen, as Neighborhood Commissioners. I Bob Murdock, county agent, ! . heads up the commissioner staff with Leo' Haueter and Ted Ol-pin Ol-pin on it also as Neighborhood Commissioners. Since Bob Montgomery left 1 us early in December as Finance Chairman, Ken Aycock has ably taken over. Of the $1900 goal set for the district, $1367 has been accumulated. Several communities com-munities are yet to have their campaigns, but they will be taken tak-en care of during the month of February. |
