Show LAPOIHT Mrs. Mable Jenki&i BIRTHDAY DINNER Mrs. Thurmer Rasmussen gave a turkey dinner Sunday, Jan. 31, in honor of her husband's hus-band's birthday. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lowe and four sons, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ed-ward Colton and daughter, of Vernal, a son, Davis. Mrs. Jessie Neumeyer went to Ogden last Thursday to visit a daughter, Mrs. Arbie Dudley, her mother, Mary Taylor, and Mr. and Mrs. Willis Neumeyer and family. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Angus and children, of Roosevelt, were guests of Mrs. Angus' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ad Kump, and family. Mr. and Mrs. George .Bigeiow spent Monday evening with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Elroy (Butch) Wil-kins Wil-kins and family in Roosevelt. Floyd Angus and Orvill Swain went to Salt Lake City with a load of cattle, Friday. Mrs. Virgie Rasmussen went to Ogden to visit with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Trujillo, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Emil Meyer and daughters, of Salt Lake, and Barbara Harrison, of Cheyenne, Chey-enne, Wyo., are guests of their grandmother, Barbara Nyberg. They came to attend the funeral funer-al of their father, Carl Harrison. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Lee and family, of Artesia, Colo, spent the weekend with their mother, Mrs. Rhoda Ann Lee. HOLD QUILTING The Sunshine Club held a quilting at Vera Bigelow's home in honor of her birthday. A silk quilt was made and presented pre-sented her. Nineteen were present pres-ent to enjoy a pot-luck dinner. Mrs. Pearl Sorensen and son, Gary, of Las Vegas, Nev., Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Harrison and son, David, of Bingham Canyon, were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins. They attended the funeral services of their brother, Carl Harrison, of Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Earl H. Jenkins and sons, of Spanish Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins, Jr. and daughter, Illeen, of Oak Creeks Colo., were guests of their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins, Jen-kins, Sr. and family. They attended at-tended the funeral services of Carl Harrison, of Roosevelt. Mrs. Orpha Kump visited in Roosevelt, Thursday with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Angus, and family. fam-ily. Mr. and Mrs. Milt Woolley received word that their son, Weldon Woolley, of Sidney, Nebraska, met with an accident and received a broken leg and other injuries while working on an oil rig. |
