Show liirr nVJrr,r urr Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ferron and children spent Sunday and Monday visiting in Salt Lake Carol Patry and Joyce Rogers Rog-ers spent the weekend in Salt Lake City as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Don Anderton. Eleanor Hackford was also a Salt Lake City visitor, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Weiss left Tuesday to spend the remainder of the week in Salt Lake City. Mrs. John Powell and new baby daughter, Elva Jane, arrived ar-rived home from the hospital Wednesday, both feeling fine. The new arrival made entrance into the world Feb. 5th and weighed 6 lbs. 10 oz. Her little brother and sister were anxiously anxious-ly waiting to greet their new sister. Among Market Week attend-ers attend-ers were Dwain Buchanan, of Christensen's and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bastian and Mrs. Morrill Labrum, of Robbie's. Salt Lake City visitors last weekend were Mrs. Irene Fret-well Fret-well and daughter, Yvonne, and Wm. H. Ruppel, Jr. Mrs. .Fret-well .Fret-well attended Market Week. Congratulations to the Norman Nor-man Labrums on the arrival of their new son. The little fellow weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and answers an-swers to "Norman Barry." The proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross of Arcadia, and Mrs. Erma Labrum, of Currant Cur-rant Creek. All are doubly elated that it was a boy, as the Labrums already have three daughters. Reed Wiscombe, of Provo, was a Sunday visitor in Roosevelt. Roose-velt. He was accompanied by a friend. Mrs. T. W. Peterson, of Og-den, Og-den, arrived Wednesday to spend several days with her son, Floyd Peterson, and family. fam-ily. Salt Lake City visitors last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. John Wogec. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Edwards and daughter, Billie Gae, were business visitors in Bingham, Monday. A family party was held at the Edwards home Monday afternoon af-ternoon to observe the first birthday of Billie Gae. The pink and white cake was cleverly clever-ly decorated with tiny marsh-mallow marsh-mallow rabbits and had a pink candle. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Gardner have purchased the Hugh Murray Mur-ray home. They moved into it last Monday. Johnnie Cook left Wednesday for Seattle, Washington to transact trans-act business with Mr. E. A. Saul. Mrs. Tom Halen underwent a major operation in the St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Axel Ax-el Birch took her in and report that she came through the operation oper-ation fine and is getting along as well as can be expected. Her daughter Alice Fairbairn, arrived ar-rived by plane from Canada to be with her mother. Among students enrolled at the Ohio State University this winter quarter is Dallas E. Murray, of Whiterocks. MAX MULLINS HOME ! ON LEAVE Max R. Mullins is home on leave from the Navy occasion was the birth of a new son born Tuesday at the Roosevelt Hospital. Name of the new arrival ar-rival is Mark Ray. This is the second son for the Mullins. Mrs. Mullins is the former Evelyn Gilbert. , . Max will leave Monday for San Francisco, where he is assigned as-signed to the USS Brown destroyer. des-troyer. Mrs Rella Fieldsted accompanied accom-panied her daughter and son-in-law Mr and Mrs. Aven McDonald,' McDon-ald,' on a trip to Los Angeles, where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Jacobs. Mrs. Jacobs is a daughter of the McDonalds. They enjoyed a trip down the coast and into Mexico. They also visited Boulder Boul-der Dam, Las Vegas and other places of interest. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Nixon and Marion Bowman were business visitors in Salt Lake City last Friday. , The David Wilkerson family is now out of quarantine for scarlet fever. Just the one boy contacted it. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Murdock attended funeral services in Heber City last Saturday -for Mrs. Anne Hitt. They went on to Salt Lake City to attend Market Mar-ket Week. |
