Shaw next Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Montwel LDS chapel. Mr. Shaw has accepted a call to serve a two-year mission mis-sion to the North Central States and will leave Feb. 17 for the LDS Mission Home in Salt Lake City. A convert to the church, Mr. Shaw was baptised four years ago and since then has served as ward clerk and as secretary in the YMMIA in the Montwel ward. He has been employed for the past several months at the OK Rubber Welders. Mr. Shaw is married and has a ten-month old son. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold C. Shaw, of Montwel, and a graduate of the Roosevelt High School. A plate dinner will be served for one dollar at the Farewell party, with dancing following. Mrs. Shaw is employed at the Roosevelt Commercial Bank. |
