Show Activties From Myton School The most exciting day of the year has passed, but we reel it well worth remembering in this ! report. It was a night of Witchery Wit-chery that we shall long remem-On remem-On the last night of the month of October the ghosts, spooks, witches, Black cats and others gathered at our school to' enjoy a Hallowe'en Carnival, and at the same time replenish the school treasury. The fishing ponds were crowded crowd-ed the entire evening, and the spooks gave out before the spectators spec-tators in the spook alley, limiting limit-ing the number who enjoyed the man without a head and the head without a man. Two' shows were seen by nearly everyone The Jungle Marauder and The Roadrunner Battles a Rattlesnake. Rattle-snake. They were both very scary. We wish to thank the parents for the cakes and pies that were sold. They were not only very tasty, but brought a very handsome hand-some profit. We also wish to thank the parents who helped with the different booths. Twenty -two parents helped us, not only wuh selling tickets to the show and setting up balloons for the darts, but as waitresses and even as really, truly Gypsy fortune tell- Besides a night of fun with our friends and parents, we have our treasury replenished with $118.47. That is after all expenses ex-penses were paid This is to be used for library books, picture shows and other expenses of our school. . . We are now working in a contest con-test between rooms selling Christmas cards The room selling sell-ing the most cards will be iV3n a party. We are in' . hopes that our playground equipment can made better with some o this money. The P T A and Superintendent Super-intendent Christensen are working work-ing toward a beterplayround for us. With their help we are sure to have a much better playground play-ground by spring. Sixth Grade |
