Show 1 Ellen Bracken Return With Now Packard -Car air. and Mrs. Angus Anderson returned Friday after making an extended trip. They traveled by plane from Salt Lake City to Detroit, in company with Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald, of Roosevelt. In Detroit they purchased pur-chased a new Packard car, then drove to Canada on a sightseeing tour, and enroute home visited in Colorado Springs with Mrs. Anderson's sister. From there they drove to Albuquerque, New Mexico, to visit another sister and a niece, then returned re-turned to the Uintah Basin by way of Carbdn County, where they visited with Mr. Anderson's Ander-son's folks. Mrs. Pearl Jenkins is in Salt Lake City at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Garn Bodily, who are the parents of a baby girl born this month. Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Kettle accompanied ac-companied Mr. and Mrs. Max Gardner and family, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, to Moab last Sunday and Monday to visit the Kettle's daughter, Mrs. Elsie Secrest. They took Dennis and Rose Marie Ma-rie Kettle, children of Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle, with them. Mrs. Spencer Squire presented the literature lesson in Relief Society Tuesday, November 13. Mr. and Mrs. Mar Ross, Mr. and Mrs. 'Tex' Ross, and Mrs. Glen Stanley attended funeral services for a relative in Park City Monday. Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Swisher were called to Nebraska during the week by the death of Mrs. Swisher's father. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Scurlock, of Roosevelt, took care of the home and family fam-ily during their absence. y Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Shisler " are the proud grandparents of a baby girl, born to Mr. and Mrs. Karl Shisler at New Orleans, La., recently. This is the Shis-lers Shis-lers first grandchild. Sunday School faculty meeting meet-ing was held Wednesday evening, eve-ning, Nov. 14,- at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Brighton, with Marilyn Brighton as hostess. host-ess. Mrs. George Bracken presented pre-sented " the lesson after other matters were discussed. Cake and ice cream were served. |
