Show Mrs. Mable Jenkins Two Honored At Home Party A party was given at the Earl Warburton home Thursday eve-1 ning1 honoring Lawrence Rich and Cloyd Kump. Games were played and refreshments served to a large group of relatives. Mr. and Mrs Fred Hartle have returned home after spending a year in California with their daughter. Lawrence Rich, stationed at a Navy base in Virginia, visited here recently with his wife and other relatives. Mrs. Rich returned re-turned to Virginia with, him. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Preece and family, of Craig, Colorado, came to' be with Mrs. Preece's father, Frank Jenkins, who suffered a heart attack last week. He is in the Roosevelt Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Blain Caldwell have moved to the Glines Ward. Mr. Caldwell has purchased Mr. Ross' farm. Dewayne Noble and sons, of Salt Lake City, visited his sister sis-ter and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins, during the pheasant hunt. A birthday surprise party was given in honor of Frances Lou Jenkins Monday evening at her home. Games were played and refreshments served to a large crowd. Mr. and Mrs. David Jenkins was in Vernal Wednesday on business. Mrs. Dorothy Luck and sons, of Vernal, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Caldwell, Cald-well, on Nov. 14. Mr. and Mrs. Coy Howard, of Bountiful, visited Mrs. Howard's How-ard's mother, Roxie Taylor, last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Huber and Mrs. Glenn Huber were in Salt Lake City recently to visit their son, Glenn, who left by train for Washington to be inducted in-ducted into' the Army. Wednesday was Parents' Day at Lapoint School. Mrs. Barbara Nyberg is visiting visit-ing her granddaughter, Mrs. Emil Meyers, at Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Mack Nyberg have returned from Panguitch, where they visited their daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clint Morrill. Mr. and Mrs. Zack Kump took care of the Adrian Kump store while he and his family were in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Jerry Harrison and Mrs. Frank Jenkins attended the bridal bri-dal tea given for JoAnn Bastian in Roosevelt Thursday evening at the home of Clem Labrum. Max Wooley was home recently recent-ly on leave to visit with his wife. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Taylor. |
