Show Mrs. Elvin Bastian Greets Guests At CandSeSight Tea The Clem Labrum residence was the setting for a lovely bridal bri-dal tea Thursday evening honoring hon-oring Mrs. Elvin Bastian, nee JoAnn LabrKm, who' was married mar-ried in a ceremony performed October 31 in Salt Lake City. Assisting the new Mrs. Bastian in receiving her guests were her mother, Mrs. Edijar Labrum, the groom's mother, Mrs. Wesley bastian, of Neola, and the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Alice Labrum. La-brum. Guests were greeted at the door by Mrs. Lloyd Labrum and Mrs. Clem Labrum. Mrs. Kenneth Labrum and Mrs. Morrell Labrum had charge of the gift room and the Misses Glenda Nelson, Barbara Harrison Harri-son and Glenda Rae Robinson assisted with the serving. Mrs. Lynn Labrum and Mrs. Floyd Labrum took charge of the refreshments. re-freshments. f Pouring during the evening were Mrs. Boye Clark and Mrs. Lynn Gardner. The attractively arranged table was adorned with a lace cloth, centered with an arrangement of bronze and yellow yel-low chrysanthemums and other fall flowers. Yellow and white lighted tapers in crystal holders completed the setting. Yellow napkiHs inscribed with "JoAnn and Elvin," were siven to each g'uest. . The musical program, which was presented throughout the gala affair, was under the direction di-rection of Mrs. La Vere Labrum and Mrs. Verlen Labrum, and featured vocal solos by Miss I la Rae McConkie and Mrs. Junior Moysh, accompanied by Mrs. Le-la Le-la Labrum; piano solo by Miss Ann Payne, and self accompanied accompan-ied vocal solos by Mrs. Joy Duncan. Dun-can. Approximately one hundred guests called during the evening to extend their well -wishes to the new Mrs. Bastian. |
