Show yyton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Mrs. Homer Robinson was hostess to the Friday Bridge club at a luncheon on April 21. Following luncheon, bridge provided pro-vided diversion for Mrs. W. H. Linck, Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Dal-gleish, Mrs. H. W. Davenport, Mrs. Wm, R. Preece, Mrs. Rex Lamb and Mrs. Wm. Harris. High score prize was won by Miss Todd, while Mrs. Harris won consolation. The Myton L.D.S. ward Primary Pri-mary was recently reorganized because of the illness of Mrs. Minnie Morrill, president. Released Re-leased with Mrs. Morrill were her counselors, Mrs. Martha Porritt and Mrs. Ella Murray. New officers elected, were Mrs. Martha Porritt, president; Mrs. C e 1 i a Richens, 1st counselor Mrs. Hazel Ross, 2nd counsel or; Miss JoAnn Taylor, secretary, secre-tary, and Mrs. Lula Gilbert, organist. or-ganist. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Billings, of Tacoma, Wash., and Mr. and Mrs, Stephen Johnson, of San Franciice, who made their homes in Duchesne for several years prior to the early 1920's, visited Friday with Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish. They were enroute home after a two month's vacation in Mexico, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roberts, of Vernal, visited Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson,. Niel-son,. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wood-ard Wood-ard were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph G. Casper and daughter, Vir; ginia May, of Heber. A son was born April 13 to Mr. and Mrs. Orville Dart, Jr., of Yucipa, Calif.' Mrs. Dart is the former Louise Frizzell. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Krebs, Jr. and small daughter, of Salt Lake, were weekend visitors at the home of Mrs. Kreb's par ents, Mr- and Mrs. H. L. Crapo. John Cronk, who has been enjoying a four month's vacation vaca-tion with relatives at Fleming, Colo, and McCook and Free-more, Free-more, Nebr., returned home Saturday. Lee Murdock and son, Tom, arrived Sunday from Mesa, Ariz., to visit Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson. Vaughn Harris, Fireman U.S. N., arrived Saturday to spend a 15-day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Harris. Vaughn is stationed at Treasure Island, San Francisco. Mrs. Emery Nielson returned Friday from a brief visit to Salt Lake City, where she has been receiving medical attention. Mrs. Alfred Morrill, who underwent un-derwent an operation recently at the Roosevelt hospital, was well enough Thursday to be returned re-turned home. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Thomas Thom-as spent the weekend in Price with their daughters. Charles Meranda and ' sons,r Thomas and John, of American' Fork, spent the weekend at their ranch, where they started their early spring farming. |
