Show Six Bokats Boost hmly OEasins ftr-Sosaiify in '52 Six bobcats and one cougar .were bountied in Duchesne ounty as lifted on the Decern-er Decern-er bounty claims report to the State Department of Agricul ture. Those making bounty claim, for the bobcats were Tom Rich arcis, of Boneta; J. W. Newman Tabiona; Ray Cook, Boneta; Ed ward Barton, Fairview; Eynei Nielsen, Duchesne; Les Court land, Myton. Keith Rowley, Duchesne, Du-chesne, made claim for the $35 bounty on the second cougar bountied in this county during 1952. The Other cougar was bountied by M. F. Lott, Roosevelt, Roose-velt, in June. The December bounty claims brings the total number of claims allowed thisyear by the Duchesne County Predatory Animal An-imal Control board, to $436.00. This sum represents a. $6.00 bounty for 11 coyotes, a $6.00 bounty for 50 bobcats, and $7C for the two cougars. For 1951, the total bounty claims approved by the local board amounted to $852.00, representing rep-resenting bounty claims on 25 .-oyotes, 102 bobcats, and 2 cougars. In comparison, for 1950 52 coyotes were bountied, 52 bobcats, and 3 cougars for 8 total of $789.00. Emory C.
