Show Mrs. Elsie Bird Genealogical Group Presents Program The Genealogical Society gave a very interesting program in Sacrament meeting Sunday evening eve-ning under the direction of Chairman Marvin K. Shields. Talks were given by Gladys Ross Charles Jensen and Marion S. Shields. Mrs. John Zirker returned Friday from Moses Lake, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen entertained Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Char-lie Bird and daughters. Deon and Mildred, on Wednesday evening. eve-ning. The evening was spent playing games and ice cream and cake were served. Marion Ross and Charlie Bird are helping Loryn Ross build his new 'home in Pleasant Valley. Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Lusty made a trip to Salt Lake City, Monday. ATTENDED CONVENTION The following ladies attended Relief Society convention Sunday Sun-day at Duchesne: Pres. Gladys Ro-s, Golda Jensen, Bessie Lusty, Lus-ty, Arlene Gilbert, Betty Evans, Gladys Capson, Marion S. Shields, Merle Ross and Celia Gilbert. Those who attended Priesthood Priest-hood convention Sunday at Duchesne Du-chesne were, Bishop Garn Gilbert, Gil-bert, Jack Gilbert, Loryn Ross, Thomas M. Gilbert, Charlie Bird, Chad Evans, LeGrand Gilbert, Gil-bert, Jim Larsen, Leon Ross and Don Hicken. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Zirker, Sunday Sun-day were, Mrs. Elsie Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gilbert, Deon, Delaine and Mildred Bird. Don Hicken spent the weekend week-end with his parents in Tabiona. Primary preparation meeting was held Friday night at the ward house, with seven officers and teachers present. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Evans' infant daughter was taken to the hospital in Roosevelt, Friday, Fri-day, where she was treated for pneumonia. They were able to bring her home Sunday. |
